Edwin “S.I.N.siZZle” Owusu is one of New England’s most revered underground talents. Born in Ghana, West Africa, S.I.N. emigrated to NYC in early 1993, living in both Harlem and South Bronx until he made a permanent move to Vermont in 2001 to attend the University of Vermont to pursue a Political Science degree. S.I.N. quickly engaged the local music scene, from battles to open Mics S.I.N. was earning his reputation as a street savvy poet who also commanded a strong street reputation. In 2004 S.I.N. linked up with a talent from West Hartford, Connecticut named Lee who also found himself in the Burlington music scene. Lee and S.I.N. started performing alongside each other as well as create 2 critically acclaimed Mixtapes including “You Cop it: The Mixtape Vol. 1” which moved over 2,500 copies and the follow up “Medication: The Mixtape Vol. 2” which received rave reviews all across America. In the fall of 2007 Lee moved to NYC to pursue his career goals as S.I.N.siZZle began to undertake his solo career. S.I.N. began his solo performances all over New England until he was forced to sit on the sideline for a period of time due to family matters. In 2009 S.I.N.siZZle made his return to the music world and has not let up his grip since. He was named one of Vibe Magazines 51 up and coming rappers, has done over 300 live shows, as well as having songs featured on many stand out projects all over the region. With the return of S.I.N.siZZle and his memorable flow, you can rest assured knowing that the once young kid from Africa’s Gold Coast came, saw and conquered.




S.I.N.siZZle has shared the stage with the likes of Wyclef Jean, Wale, The Clipse, KRS-One, , Dilated People, Planet Asia, Sean Price, Wordsworth, Pack FM, Brother Ali, Cappadonna, Smiff an Wessun, Zion I, RA the Rugged Man, Akrobatik and the Wu Tang Clan.
